Once upon a time…

…you dreamed of a life that felt magical.

Not perfect, but rich. Real. Full of color, texture, depth.

You imagined mornings that didn’t start in a panic, days that had space to breathe, evenings that felt soft around the edges.

You thought you'd feel different by now—settled, maybe even joyful.

But here you are.

Moving through your days with practiced precision. Meetings, messages, logistics, care.

You are impressive in your capacity.

And still, there are moments—subtle and fleeting—when the ache slips through. In the grocery store line. While brushing your teeth. A heaviness behind your ribs. A voice inside that whispers, Is this all there is?.

You wonder if the version of you who once dreamed was naïve.

If the magic she believed in was just a story.

If maybe this low-grade exhaustion, this endless managing, is just what life is.

And yet, when you let yourself feel—even for a breath—you know it’s not the whole truth. You know something is missing.

Or maybe, someone is missing.

You.

And there’s grief in that.

Grief you don’t have time to feel.

Because the calendar keeps filling. The inbox keeps growing. And you keep showing up. Telling yourself you're okay, even when something in your bones knows otherwise.

What if the version of you who dreamed wasn’t naïve—but wise? And she’s still in there, waiting, buried under the weight of your life.

And when you leave?

It won’t be because everything is suddenly figured out.
It will be because something true stirred inside you—something ancient, steady, and deeply yours.
You’ll feel it in the stillness of your body, in the tenderness of your breath, in the way you look at yourself with just a little more softness.

You’ll walk away not with answers, but with remembrance.
Of your beauty.
Of your power.
Of the wisdom that’s always lived inside you, waiting for you to come home.

And when you return to your life, it will still be full.
But you’ll move through it differently.
You’ll pause before saying yes. You’ll stretch before reaching for your phone.
You’ll drink water when your body asks. You’ll leave space in your day—maybe just five minutes—to check in, to breathe, to listen.

You’ll start to shift small things.
And those small things will start to shift everything.
Because your needs begin to matter. Your rhythms begin to lead.
And new possibilities begin to rise—ones that feel nourishing, not depleting.
Ones that feel like you.

This sacred pause isn’t the end of the story.
It’s the moment you begin writing a new one—with softness, with truth, with you at the center.

This is the day you remember who you are—and begin creating a life that honors her.

and this is exactly why I created…

A Sacred Pause: Reconnect, Release, Reclaim

We’ll gather for a full day at Sunrise Ranch, nestled in one of Colorado’s most peaceful valleys—a place that invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with what’s real.

In the style of a women’s circle, this retreat blends gentle movement, guided meditation, sound, time in nature, and soulful sharing in community. You’ll be held in a space that invites you to reconnect with yourself, release what you’ve been carrying, and reclaim the parts of you that have been waiting to be heard.

A nourishing farm-to-table lunch and afternoon snack are included to support and replenish you.

Your guide, Sonny Miles, MD, is a healer who bridges worlds—science and soul, medicine and mystery. She will walk beside you as you journey inward, offering a space of safety, insight, and deep remembering.

Your life is precious. Your body knows it. Your soul knows it. Let this be the moment you stop pretending it’s not.

“It’s hard to take a whole day. There’s too much to do.”

Yes. And somewhere along the way, you learned that your needs come second. That being a good woman means showing up, holding it all, and rarely asking for anything in return.

But your body is speaking—tight, tired, done.
And your soul keeps whispering: not like this. You know it’s time.

A Sacred Pause was created for exactly this moment—when the doing has taken over, and the being has been lost.

It’s not just a retreat. It’s a radical act of remembering that you matter.

Not after everything else is handled. Not when it’s convenient. Now.

“It feels like a lot to spend on just one day.”

It’s hard to spend money on yourself—especially when you’re so used to giving. Care, energy, time, attention… those flow out easily. But when it comes to receiving? To investing in you? That’s where the resistance rises.

But here’s the truth: you are the foundation of your life.
And tending to yourself—your body, your spirit, your aliveness—is not extra.
It’s everything.

A Sacred Pause isn’t just one day.
It’s an investment in the life you say you want, not the one you’ve been settling for.

“When and where is this happening—and what’s included?”
